Is there a minimum order quantity for your bags?
Although a minimum order of 5,000 is usually required for custom projects, please don’t hesitate to inquire about your specific needs. We always do our best to accommodate.

Can I order bags for my wedding, business, special event, etc.?
If you are able to meet the minimum number of bags in your order (see above), we can make bags for any occasion.

What types of bags do you produce?
We like to think of our bags as falling into four categories: reusable, insulated, specialty, and seasonal. But because we pride ourselves on customization, if you need a bag tailored to your particular needs, just let us know. We love a good challenge and take pride in our design ingenuity.

Do you have special rates for charities and nonprofits?
Please contact us for further info. We love to work with organizations who are making a difference.

How long do your bags last?
We use high-grade materials, trims, and detailed construction methods in making each of our bags, which then go through a series of quality inspections. Our reputation is founded on delivering bags that endure the test of transporting groceries over a number of years. It’s not uncommon for us to see customers carrying bags of ours that were produced more than 10 years ago.

How much weight can your bags carry?
Most of our bags have been tested to withhold 100 pounds and more — way beyond what you would typically carry in a bag.

How do I care for my bag?
Each of our bags carries an inner label detailing best-care instructions. If your bag has lost its label, refer to these guidelines:

100% recycled PET bags: Machine washable. Use cold water on gentle cycle. Air dry or tumble dry low. Do not dry clean, bleach, or iron.

Insulated bags: Hand wash with damp cloth and gentle dish soap. Do not fully immerse in water. Air dry only; do not tumble dry. Do not dry clean, bleach, or iron.

Takeout Tote and Trolley: Hand wash in cold water. Do not dry clean, bleach, or iron. Air dry only; do not tumble dry.

What are your best-selling bags?
Since we specialize in a number of bags, we’re happy to say there isn’t just one that resonates with consumers. For everyday reusable bags, our patented, 100-percent recycled-PET Kangaroo Tote is a tried-and-true favorite. Our customers love that the extra side pocket provides an additional tote and accommodates specialty items to be kept separate from groceries.

Shoppers in need of an insulated bag love our Square Cooler for its unique design that allows stacking cans, bottles, or hot/cold food conveniently and easily. The Takeout Tote, made of ripstop fabric, is a favorite among users looking for a compact yet durable bag.

I saw a bag on your site that I really like but only want one for myself. Where can I find it?
Our bags are white-label products, meaning we create custom bags specifically for companies. Chances are, you already have several of our bags — you just don’t know it! Because so many companies apply their own designs, it may be hard for us to pinpoint where your particular bag originated, but if you send us a photo on Instagram, Twitter, or Facebook, we’ll see if we can hunt down the source for you.

What services do you provide in the bag-making process?

Where are your bags produced?
Since our company began in 1999, we have developed enduring partnerships with our material suppliers across the globe and finishing factories in Asia, who are very much in sync with our design and development standards. Additionally, we have a team in Asia who works closely with our factories every step of the way to ensure the finished product is just as our customers envisioned. Our partners’ facilities adhere to rigorous standards for quality, sustainability, and labor practices.

In what countries do you offer your bags?
The majority of our customers are located in the United States, but our bags can also be found in Canada, Mexico, Australia, South Korea, Taiwan, and Japan. If we’re not yet available in your region, contact us to see if we can still accommodate your order.

Can you accommodate Pantone colors?
Yes, we print using the Pantone Matching System (PMS) to ensure your bag is printed in the colors you chose.

What different printing methods do you offer?
We currently offer transfer printing, screen printing, heliographic printing, woven labels, and embroidered bags. If you don’t see a printing method here that you are interested in, please ask.

Can I customize my bag?

What if I don’t have artwork? Do you help with bag designs/patterns?
Of course! If you don’t already have a bag design or pattern, our team of designers will help you fashion a style that reflects your brand and its ideals.

Can I customize the dimensions of my bag?
Customization is our middle name. We’ll work with you to determine your needs and craft a bag in tailor-made dimensions.

What features can I customize?
The sky’s the limit. From straps to size, design to dimensions, our bags are all custom-tailored to fit your brand’s needs.

What bag materials do you offer?
We offer a wide variety of materials to ensure your bag is as durable, stylish, and — most importantly —sustainable as possible. Depending on the type of bag you need, we may suggest specific materials. See which types of materials function best with different bag types.

ORDERS

Can I receive a sample prior to my order being fulfilled?
Absolutely. It’s our goal to ensure your bag is just as you imagine.

How will my order be delivered to me?
We have an extremely efficient supply chain that can deliver to warehouses, stores, or any destination address provided. Just name the location.

How will I know the status of my order?
A dedicated KeepCool representative will manage your order from start to finish and communicate the status to you.

What is the standard lead-time on a custom bag order?
We work with you every step of the way, from design inception to sample to final product. As soon as final artwork details are confirmed for your bag, the typical lead-time is 12–14 weeks, depending on your location in the United States. For lead-times in other locations, please contact us.

How long will my order take?
For U.S. customers, the first production run typically takes eight weeks, with shipping ranging from 4–6 weeks, depending on whether you are on the West or East Coast. Contact us to learn about shipping times to non-U.S. destinations.

Can you expedite production, if need be?
It’s our goal to ensure that your bag is as perfect as you envision. Most of the production process cannot be compressed due to our stringent standards for material sourcing, printing, and assembly. However, when feasible, we are happy to explore ways to expedite the process.

SUSTAINABILITY

What certifications does KeepCool have? What makes your bags “green”?
In addition to meeting our own rigorous standards, our bags are compliant with California’s Proposition 65, and our materials comply with TPCH (Toxics in Packaging Clearinghouse), a benchmark established in 1992 to assist states in reducing the presence of heavy metals in an array of single-use packaging. By adhering to this more rigorous standard — which isn’t even applicable to reusable bags — we surpass all relevant market and even local-level regulations nationwide. I know your materials are environmentally sound. But what about the printing process?
We use mainly water- or soy-based inks and, when technically needed, only use eco-friendly oil-based inks from BASF, the world’s largest chemical producer and a leader in social and environmental stewardship.
