Sustainability is not just deeply embedded in our DNA — it’s the very reason for our being. Wherever possible, we use environmentally conscious materials from recycled and renewable components that enhance the bag’s performance and aesthetic. Our goal is to find a strong balance between function, sustainable design, and materials, with cost-efficient resources and processes.
In 2007, we pioneered the concept of a functional and attractive shopping tote made from 80% recycled post-consumer waste. The result: unprecedented sales and praise from customers and shoppers alike. Since that pivotal milestone, we have continued to innovate in designs and sustainable material choices, developing national-scale bag programs for major retailers and launching bags made of 100% recycled post-consumer waste.

PropOSITION 65
TiPPA compliant
All of our bags are made with the highest-quality components and are Proposition 65 and TIPPA compliant. California’s Proposition 65, officially known as the Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986, is considered one of the country’s most stringent environmental statutes in terms of informing citizens about exposure to chemicals associated with causing cancer, birth defects, or other harm. TIPPA (Toxics in Packaging Prevention Act) is a California law enacted in 2006 to reduce the presence of heavy metals in an array of packaging, including bags.
